I've never been much of a blogger but it's been a crazy few months and I thought that it would be a nice change to try something new. December 10th 2008 was a life changing day for me. I was nearly killed in a car accident. Things can completely change in a split second. If I wouldn't have seen that car coming and jumped into my car to get out of the way, I would have been crushed in between her car and my car but instead my legs were crushed in the door. It's been a long road since that day but each day gets better and better. I'm just trying to enjoy life and to protect myself and my loved ones as best as possible. I don't know what I would ever do if someone close to me was taken away like I was almost taken away. It would be really hard. As I can imagine how hard it would be if I were taken away. On another note, if I would have been killed by that car, I'm sure I would have been one of those really sad ghosts that is stuck because of unfinished business. I have too many things on the road ahead of me and I want to accomplish as many as possible before I die of old age. So watch out world, here I come alive and nearly walking.
